Sewer Smell in House

If you are getting a sewer smell in your house it is possibly one of two causes. 1. You have a broken  sewer pipe in the house. 2. A trap in the house has dried up and is allowing the sewer smell to enter the house. Try to run water at every place there is a sink, tub, floor drain, and any place there is a drain connection. Run the cold water for a minute or two to fill the trap. After the trap is  filled   the smell should go away.
